CSX Files with STB To Acquire Pan-Am

Letter to Pan-Am Employees From Cyndi Scarano, Pan-Am Executive Vice President

Dear Employees:

Last night, CSX filed its application with the Surface Transportation Board for authority to acquire Pan Am.  CSXT is pursing a minor transaction which, if permitted, would establish a timeline of approximately six months for STB review. This is a necessary Governmental part of the process.  While we will not be in control of this governmental process, we will keep all employees apprised of any major developments of which we become aware.  Until the conclusion of the process things will remain status quo.  I can’t stress enough that we need to do what we do best and that is safely move trains.  Please remain focused on safety rules and Covid protocols.

Thank you again for your hard work and dedication. Have a nice weekend and as always call me anytime with any questions.  If interested I have included the link you can use to view the filing when available.  Currently it is not  posted yet.
